Taylor is a longtime public servant, communicator, and advocate for community-first leadership. After graduating from UTSA with a degree in political science, and UIW with an MA in Communication Arts he went on to serve at the highest levels of local government in America’s 7th largest city.
In Whitehall, Taylor and his wife are raising three children and staying actively involved in public service, education, and advocacy for inclusive, family-centered policy.
Taylor knows what it takes to bring people together, listen to concerns, and make government work for everyone—not just the few.
Meet Taylor
🛠 Public Service Background:
Taylor began his career in local government as Chief of Constituency for San Antonio City Council District 9, where he led community outreach, zoning and planning strategy, and policy communication. Taylor worked directly with residents, HOAs, land use attorneys, and city staff to advocate for neighborhoods and ensure responsible growth.
🎓 Higher Education & Mental Health:
With over a decade of experience in higher education marketing and communications, Taylor currently works for a national virtual health company, and teaches Media & Communications courses at Lehigh Carbon Community College. He understands the intersection of policy, community wellness, and communication—critical for building a more resilient and inclusive Whitehall.
🏘 Determined Leadership:
While earning both undergraduate and graduate degrees Taylor worked full time. As a millennial parent of three, including a child with unique needs, he brings lived experience to every conversation about education, public safety, and family support.
